How Does It Work?
Ultrasonic Cavitation (4D Cavi) works by transmitting ultra high frequency (40kHz) sound wave energy into the subdermal tissues.
It targets the area immediately beneath the treatment head to a consistent depth of 8-10mm. This forms low pressure bubbles within the adipocyte layer (fat cells). This creates a positive pressure within the tissues causing the fat cells to rupture, or driving the fat cell contents into the lymphatic system.
When used following Laser Lipolysis, this energy impacts the adipocytes and drives the fat cell contents out through the pores formed in the cell membrane. If used in isolation to break down stubborn or hard fat deposits, the ultrasonic waves cause low pressure bubbles to form between the cells, weakening cell cohesion and rupturing the cell membrane.
Within 48 hours after treatment, undertaking some form of (preferably cardio vascular) exercise to raise your heart rate, therefore increase your metabolic rate, will ensure you retain the results delivered during the treatment. Your body will use the fuel available in your blood stream, which includes the Fatty Acids and Triglycerides released by the 4D Cavi treatments.
Once the “fuel” in the bloodstream has been used up, your Liver will begin to target the remaining fat deposits (starting with those most easily broken down – the treated areas) for further “fuel”. Therefore, the more exercise you undertake between treatments, the better your results will be! 4D Cavi Inch Loss is a fantastic means of “reminding” your body about those long dormant fat deposits that no amount of exercise seems to be able to target.
Cavitation must never be used on bony parts of the body e.g. hips, back and head.
The good news is that almost everyone can be treated – as long as you are over 18 and capable of doing some exercise after each treatment to burn your bodies “fuel” laser lipo can be carried out on yourself.
However there are some contra-indications (you can NOT be treated), these are listed below so please read through these and do not take offence if you can’t be treated, this is for your safety not ours.
